Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Haritica. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Haritica.

Who we are

Haritica (the "Company", "we", "us") is the service described in these Terms and your contracting party. We are the merchant of record for direct (Stripe) transactions; for customers outside the United States, Polar acts as the Merchant of Record and reseller. You can reach us at team@haritica.com.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old. If you use Haritica on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at team@haritica.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

Do not upload data you do not have the right to process. You retain ownership of your inputs and results.
Do not upload protected health information (PHI) or other regulated data. Haritica is not HIPAA-covered.
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, probe for vulnerabilities beyond your own account, or evade rate limits or paywalls.
Do not use the service to violate any law.

Subscription and billing

Haritica operates on a subscription plus metered-usage model. Pricing is shown in the application; taxes are calculated at checkout and may be added by Polar (non-US) or Stripe (US). Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy at /legal/refund.

Trial credit

New accounts receive a one-time signup credit (currently $5.00) to cover initial AWS compute. The credit expires 90 days after grant and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.

Service availability

Haritica is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime SLA. Planned maintenance and unplanned outages may interrupt the service.

Independent, personal use only

Haritica is provided for independent, personal use only, "as is" and entirely at your own risk. Analysis outputs have not been independently validated for every use case. You are solely responsible for validating any results — for example, by running an appropriate positive control — before relying on them, including before use in publications, clinical decisions, or regulatory submissions. Haritica is not a medical device.

Disclaimer of warranties

Haritica is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Analysis outputs are statistical estimates and are not a substitute for expert judgment. We make no warranty as to fitness for any specific scientific purpose, accuracy of statistical inference, or suitability for any downstream use including clinical decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of Haritica is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost profits, or business interruption.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or your use of Haritica, are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this section deprives consumers resident in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer-protection laws of the protections those laws afford, which continue to apply regardless of the governing law stated above.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, for non-payment, or for abusive behavior. On termination, the account-deletion grace period described in our Privacy Policy applies.

Changes

We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
